We’re looking for a senior developer who can take real ownership of technical work across client projects and internal products — someone who writes good code, makes smart decisions, and knows how to get things done without needing constant direction.
Most of our work is web-based — WordPress builds, custom plugins, eCommerce platforms, and web applications. We’re also moving into Shopify app development and building internal SaaS products. The person in this role will be the technical backbone of the team.
This is not a management-heavy role. It’s a hands-on senior position where you’ll lead by example, make architectural decisions, and help the team move faster and ship better work.

Responsibilities
- Lead technical development across client projects and internal Elixo products
- Make architectural decisions and set coding standards for the team
- Build and maintain WordPress plugins, themes, custom web applications, and APIs
- Develop Shopify apps and integrations as part of our eCommerce service line
- Review code from junior developers and ensure quality across all deliverables
- Use AI coding tools effectively — not as a shortcut, but as a serious productivity layer
- Guide AI-generated output critically — review for security, logic, and production readiness
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and solve them independently
- Work closely with designers to deliver clean, production-ready interfaces
- Help the team stay organized, productive, and technically aligned
- Contribute to internal SaaS products and future mobile product infrastructure
What We’re Looking For
- Strong hands-on experience in full-stack web development
- Deep knowledge of PHP, JavaScript, MySQL, HTML, and CSS
- Solid WordPress development experience — custom themes, plugins, hooks, filters, APIs
- Experience with modern frontend frameworks — React, Next.js, or Vue
- Backend experience with Laravel, Node.js, or similar frameworks
- Strong understanding of system architecture, security, and performance
- Ability to review code critically and catch weak logic, bad patterns, and security risks
- Strong working knowledge of AI coding tools — Cursor, Claude, Copilot, or similar
- Ability to prompt AI effectively, review output smartly, and ship production-grade code
- Strong problem-solving ability and practical technical thinking
- Good written English and professional communication
- Someone who takes ownership, works independently, and leads by example
Bonus: Shopify app development, WooCommerce advanced customization, TypeScript, Next.js, Docker, basic DevOps, Flutter, SaaS product experience

Compensation
BDT 50,000 – 80,000 / month
Based on experience, technical depth, and quality of work.
